Musavat party does not recognize the results of the election
In a statement issued by Musavat party regarding the early presidential election that took place on April 11, the party said it does not recognize the results released by the Central Election Commission.
The political environment did not meet the requirements to carry out free and fair elections, the leading opposition parties were prevented from campaigning and people's right to freedom of assembly was violated said the statement.
In addition, with independent media muzzled, the party does not recognize the legitimacy of the new government.
The party calls for canceling the results of this election and hold an election according to international standards.
