Khadija Ismayilova's trial might begin in 20 days or a month
In a recent interview with Azadliq Radiosu, Khadija Ismayilova's lawyer, Fariz Namazli said now that investigation into Khadija's case is finalized and her lawyers are familiarizing themselves with the papers, it is likely the hearing will commense in some 20 days or a month.
Namazli also noted that the charge for disseminating state secrets has been terminated while other charges remain.
Once the lawyers are done working with the documents, they will present their petitions according to the rules of procedure.

The criminal case launched against investigative journalist Khadija Ismayilova completed preliminary investigation
Ismayilova's lawyer Fariz Namazli informed the Azadliq Radiosu her lawyers are currently evaluating the case.
Khadija Ismayilova was arrested on December 5, 2014. She was originally accused of incitement to suicide. Two months later she was charged with tax evasion and abuse of power.
